Hope has always been the type of person to dive head-first into the deep end (literally - she learned to swim before she was 2!). Hope became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2017, completed her PhD in nutritional biochemistry in May 2018, and in 2020 passed her registration examination to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). Since 2018, Hope has owned Hope Feeds Babies, a private practice based in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Hope is also employed full time at Winthrop University in the Department of Human Nutrition. As an IBCLC, Hope has a passion for connecting with mothers to help them to reach their individual feeding goals and advocacy for maternal health.

I am a registered dietitian with a focus on community nutrition. The backbone of community nutrition is program planning, and CERPs are just another form of program planning. My full time job is teaching, so I absolutely love putting together educational content that helps people connect with lactation.
